About Us

AEIOU Early Learning Childcare has been a trusted part of the community since 2011. Nestled on the University of the Sunshine Coast campus, we’re a small, family-focused centre with a welcoming atmosphere. Our flexible casual attendance options make us a perfect fit for university students, campus staff, and local families.

Our Team

At the heart of what we do is our passionate and skilled team, dedicated to helping every child thrive. Our staff are highly qualified, staying up-to-date with the latest in early childhood education. They’re certified in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Management, ensuring a safe environment for all children. We also embrace continuous learning, with regular training and development for our team. Occasionally, you might see childcare students or community volunteers joining us – all of whom hold a Blue Card to ensure your child’s safety.

Our Centre

Our purpose-built centre is designed to inspire and engage children from 6 weeks to 6 years, with five dedicated learning rooms tailored to different groups: Nursery, Toddlers, Kindergarten, Supported Learning Space plus we also have a specially designed classroom offering early intervention for autistic children.

Outside, our play areas are a child’s dream – filled with opportunities for discovery, creativity, and adventure. Whether it’s splashing in water play areas or exploring the natural environment, safety is always our top priority. We incorporate padded obstacle courses to encourage children to explore and manage risks in a safe, supportive way.

We follow the Early Years Learning Framework alongside our own curriculum, focusing on children’s growth through the themes of Belonging, Being, and Becoming:

Belonging

Recognising that every child is part of a family, culture, and community – shaping who they are and who they’ll become.

Being

Being is about acknowledging the present and the children learning about themselves, building and maintaining relationships with others and engaging in life’s joys and complexities being in the moment.

Becoming

As kids grow, they’re constantly changing and learning. Becoming is the journey of developing skills, forming relationships, and finding their place in the world with support from families, educators, and their community.
